It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie MacK Whipple Hillard in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parent Aggie Mack; her brothers, Homer Mack and Lester Mack; her daughter-in-law Ann Whipple; and her great great grandchild Jaleigh Ann Rozier.

She is survived by : her son Benjamin Whipple Sr. Early (Johnnie Mae) of Milledgeville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Tina Ivery (Morris) of Dublin, Angela Coley (Walter) of Dublin, Pamela Wells (Garrick) of Dublin, Benjamin Whipple Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and April Gantt (Roderick) of Atlanta, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Desmon Ivery, Dominick Ivery, Senquon Coley, Jayquon Coley, Annataya Coley, Effie Rozier, Jalen Wells, Juwan Wells, Estavon Whipple, Mariah Vargas, Demarcus Green, Annjaleah Green and Aliyah Gantt; her stepgrandchildren, Cheryl Thomas (Gregory) of Milledgeville, Victor Ferrell of Milledgeville, Jeffrey Ferrell of Washington, Dorine Smith (Willie) of Loganville and Tanya Wright of Milledgeville; and her sister-in-law Louise Mack of Montrose, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
