With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ketola of Detroit, Michigan, born in Mohawk, Michigan, who passed away on January 18, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ronald Ketola and Ethel Ketola (Tolonen); his wife Erma Koski; and his sisters-in-law, Roma Aalto and Enith Juopperi (Walt).

He is survived by : his children, Ron, Paul and Becky; his grandchildren, Cassandra Ketola, Jody Ketola, Emily Allen (Grant), John Butala, Jacob Butala and Jana Butala; his great grandchildren, Jordan Redd, Joey Redd, Nathan Thyrion and Marlee Allen; and his brother-in-law Carl Koski (Dorothy). He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
