She is survived by : her sons, Paul Ameye (Michelle), Bart Ameye (Aileen Hernandez), Kris Ameye (Laureen), Gary Ameye (DeAnna) and Steve Ameye; her grandchildren, Max, Alyssa, Michael, Brandi, Jacob, Joshua, Benjamin, Lucas, Autumn, River, Andre, Emeliano, Angeleah, Ethan and Shelby; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Stella, Luciano and Jax.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Assumption Grotto Church (13770 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48205). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
