It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Vivian-Irene Caviness of Detroit, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her parents, Theresa L. Jones and Aubrey Taylor; and her siblings, Benita Owolabi Barney of Houston, Charles Barney of Cleveland, Shontrell Simmons (Johnnie) of Saginaw, Audrey James (Brian) of Orlando, Andre Jones (Meagan) of Odenton, Elizabeth Jones of Detroit, Princeton Jones of Ann Arbor, Aubrey D. Taylor (Mitzie Frazier) of Dallas, Tamara Taylor of Saginaw and Thadeus D. Taylor of Phoenix, Arizona.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of relatives.
