Janet Ann (Cullimore) Matheny Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Ann (Cullimore) Matheny (Dewitt, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Cullimore and Zeeland Cullimore; and her brothers, Edward, Leon, Dean, Jim and Tom.
She is survived by: her sister Virginia Strine; her husband Frederick Matheny; her sons, Jeffrey (Kimberlee), Thomas (Randy) and Daniel; her grandchildren, Kyle Matheny (Kendra) and Justyne Ross (Ivan); and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Adalyn Matheny, Eliza and Carey Ross.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes (205 E Washington St, DeWitt, MI 48820). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Therese of Lisieux Parish (102 W Randolph St, Lansing, MI 48906).
