With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Joanne Downey (East China Township, Michigan), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen Joanne Downey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Bayer and Virginia Bayer (Germain); and her sister Shirley Bethell. She is survived by : her children, DJ Downey (Patti) of Fair Haven, Emily Solomon (Jon) of Cottrellville Township and Eric Krause of Indiana; her grandchildren, Arianna, Ian, Olivia, Nathan, Alaina, Axel, Dylan and Colton; and the father of her children Doug Downey of Port Huron.
