He is survived by: his children, Jerry Richards (Sharon), Leroy Allen Richards Jr., John Richards (Karin), Sheila Olszewski (Ed) and Chris Richards (Luann Kleeves); his daughter-in-law Karen Richards; his grandchildren, Jay, Sherrie, Shannon, Michele, Jason, Amanda, Johnny, Brandon, Don, Kim, Josh, Joel, Matt and Chris; his siblings, Harvey, Marvin, Rosemary and Sharon; and his pet Rose. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
