With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret I. Butler of East China Township, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 18, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret I. Butler to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Conat and Patricia Conat; her husband John Thomas Butler; her daughter Patty Butler; her brother William Conat; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Butler and MarieThieman.

She is survived by : her daughters, Christine Butler and Michelle Espada (Enrique); her sisters, Kathy Bennett and Colleen Lessley (Larry); her sisters-in-law, Kathy Conat, Cathy Archer (Dave) and Ginger Butler; and also Raymond Conat (Donna). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many close lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (610 S Water St, Marine City, MI 48039).

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or Blue Water Area Humane Society.
