With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gail Ray Eby of East Jordan, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Eby and Mildred Eby Kidder (Jones); his stepfather George H. Kidder; and his siblings, Dale Eby, David Eby, Glen Eby and Gladys Eby.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Eby of East Jordan; his children, Christine Gardener (William) of East Jordan, Jeff Eby (Diana) of Newport, David Eby of Lakeland and Mark Eby of Lakeland, Florida; his grandchildren, Austin Eby, Alex Eby, Samantha Brooks (Blake), Kathleen Clark (Jeffery), Bill Gardner and Hailey Houle (Joe); his great grandchildren, Nick, Lana Ray, Preston, Scarlett, Barrett and Konnor; and his sister-in-law Doris Eby of Ionia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lighthouse Missionary Church (7824 Rogers Rd, East Jordan, MI 49727). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
