He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Moon and Helen F. Moon (Jasinski); his son Scott C. Moon; his grandson Travis M. Opperman; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Agnes Stachowicz; his brother-in-law Robert Stachowicz; and his grandson-in-law Cameron Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Moon (Stachowicz); his children, Timothy, Lisa Moon of Savage, Carrie, Mark Opperman of East Tawas, Curt and Marci Moon of Traverse City; his grandchildren, Jasica Martin, Michael Turner (Katelyn Day), Kate Bixler (Adam), Trent Moon (Alexia) and Ian Moon; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Amarli, Bo, Skyelynn, Lincoln, Benny, Travis and Arthur; his sister Kathleen Bengry (Emmett) of Saginaw; his sister-in-law Vicky Boyce (Lyle) of Caseville; and his sibling's children, Brent Boyce (Brady), Craig Boyce (Heather), Bryce Bengry (Lisa), Stephen Bengry (Carrie) and Jenny Brieske (Khord). He is also survived by cousins and many special friends.
