We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gayle D. Decker (East Tawas, Michigan), born in Midland, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gayle may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her brother Ronald Freeman (Alma). She is survived by: her brother Gerald Freeman (Kathy) of Tennessee; her husband James L. Decker; her daughter Mary; her son-in-law Donald Koehn; her daughter Pamela Young; and her grandsons, Nathan Koehn and Evan Koehn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Tawas Church of the Nazarene (811 E Bay St, East Tawas, MI 48730). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks any memorial contributions be made out to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries or the East Tawas Church of the Nazarene in memory of Gayle.
