She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelis Ari and Johanna Pluentje Prins (Verhoek); her husband Boyd Kuieck of Grand Rapids, Michigan.; and her brother Kees Prins. She is survived by: her brother Willem Prins; her children, Shanna Branding (Dave) and Scott Prins Kuieck; her grandchildren, Alisha Branding, Zena, Mori and Aaron Kuieck; and her sibling's children, Kim, Boyd Anderson, Danielle, Veronique, Kees, Rob, Marga and Finnegan.
