We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2022 we had to say goodbye to LaCorda Mae Smith of Elk Rapids, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alan Youngs and Dolores Youngs (Davidson); her husband Preceding; her siblings, Dale, Ardis, Joyce and Royce; her grandson Damien Smith; and her great grandchild Ali.

She is survived by : her former life partner Richard Lee Smith; her children, Ron Smith (Julie) of Central Lake, Don Smith of Traverse City, Doug Smith (Cindy) of Fenton and Lisa Thomas (Alvin) of South Carolina; and her grandchildren, Stacy Harbin (Jim), Melissa Smith, Tracy Carefelle (Adam), Candace Jaruzel, Erik Smith (Kellie), Nicholas Smith, Steven Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Chad Thomas and Dustin Thomas. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be given to Promedica Hospice or First Presbyterian Church in Elk Rapids.
