He was predeceased by : his parents, Ford Smith and Irene Smith (Walkington); and his grandson Damien Smith. He is survived by : his wife LaCorda Smith (Youngs); his children, Ron Smith (Julie) of Central Lake, Don Smith of Traverse City, Doug Smith (Cindy) of Fenton and Lisa Thomas (Alvin) of South Carolina; his sisters, Audrey Deatsman (Carmen) and Janet McKimmy; his grandchildren, Stacy (Jim), Melissa, Tracy (Adam), Candace, Erik (Kelly), Nick, Steven, Brandon, Chad and Dustin; his great grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sarah), Rebecca (Aaron), Kelsey, Gavin, Preston, Lydia, Ezra, Micah, Chloe, Selah, Nyilee, Diamond, Kolton and Keegan; and his great great grandchild Piper.
