He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph Peterson and Evelyn Peterson; his wife Laurel; his daughters, Heidi West (Dave Finn) and Michelle Redington (Mike); his grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Alex West, Thomas, Addison and Parker Redington; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Carol Peterson.
