It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jeannette Botwright of Bark River, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 76, on April 21, 2024. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, we take solace in the memories we hold dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jeannette may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William E Savageau and Catherine M Savageau (Couillard). She is survived by : her close friends, David, Sarah Flum and Gideon Gereau.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home (118 S 12th St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the St. Joseph and St. Patrick Catholic Church (709 1st Ave S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A Mass was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Jeannette's wish was for donations to be made (in her name) to the St. Joseph and St. Patrick Catholic Church.
