She was predeceased by : her parents, Aldage "Dave" and Elizabeth Gerou; her husband Alfred Scherer, Sr.; her sons, Alfred Scherer, Jr. and Charles Scherer; her son-in-law Dennis Milis; her grandsons, Scott Nault and Steven Nault; and her siblings, Leonard Gerou, Octave "Bud" Gerou, Dave "Junior" Gerou, Lawrence Gerou (Jean) and Bertha Johnson (Elmer).
She is survived by : her former life partner Donald Nault; her children, Donna Milis, Donald Nault (Beverly), Darwin Nault (Louise) and Dale Nault (Mary); and her grandchildren, Michael Milis, Christine DeBruin (Scott), Donald Nault, Jr., Todd Nault, Marc Nault (Anne), Duane Nault (Sara), Christine Scherer, Andrew Scherer, Brian Scherer and Bruce Scherer. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
