He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Powell and Irene Powell (Piotrowski); his sister Cathy Gates (Frank); and his in-laws, Cathy Powell and Roger Cook.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Powell (Judy), David Powell and Linda Cook; his siblings' children, Shawna Nievierowski (Dennis), Craig Gates (Jessica), Angie Buda, Steve Call, Laura Call and Kevin Call; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Jordynn, Lainey and Ethan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Bay County (821 N Pine Rd, Essexville, MI 48732). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 6:15 PM at the same location.
