He was predeceased by : his parents, John Piske and Emily Piske (Crandall); his wife Rosa Mae Wood; his daughter Nancy Fent; and his grandson Tyler Piske.

He is survived by : his close friend Joyce Simpson; his children, Keith Piske (Kristy) of Westland, Dean Piske (April) of Millington, Darlene Brown of North Platte and Dale Piske (Julie) of Traverse City; his grandsons, Aaron Fent, Daniel Brown and Dylan Brown; and his brother Franklin Piske (Carol) of Burton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
