Catherine M. Staran Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Catherine M. Staran of Farmington Hills, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marlene Richards and Ronald Richards; her husband John D. Staran; her children, Rachel (Ashleigh) and Maxwell (Evelyn); her grandchildren, Adrian and Rafael; and her siblings, Donna Sadowski (Chuck), Ron Richards, Jr. (Vicki), George Richards (Suzanne), Tom Richards (Victoria), Tim Richards (Jodi), Marcia Richards and Jennifer Tobias. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home (23720 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Gerald Catholic Church (21300 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made as a remembrance to Cathy to the following cancer organizations: Henry Ford Health Game On Cancer Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
