He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret. He is survived by: his children, Tim Baeten (Ana Freitas), Paul Baeten (Elizabeth) and Nancy McIntosh; and his grandchildren, Kenneth, Katherine, Haley (Brandon), Blair, Colin and Olivia. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George's name may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Lutheran Child and Family Services of Michigan, or the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan.
