With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peter Kalakailo Jr. of Farmington Hills, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peter left this world on June 22, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kalakailo Sr. and Antonina Kalakailo (Trybel); and his sister Maryann. He is survived by: his wife Estelle Kalakailo; his children, Heidi Kalakailo, Andrew Kalakailo, Nicholas Kalakailo and Emily Scott (Liam); his grandchildren, Sara, Ancel, Isabella, Sophia and Joseph; his stepchildren, Ed Furst and Kirstin Cava (Joe); and his grandchildren, Coleman, Brooke, Haley, Shelby and Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home (23720 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336). A rosary will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist of Farmington (33112 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI 48336).
