She was predeceased by: her sister Anne (Roy); and her mother Elvera Shanley Trosvick. She is survived by: her husband Leonel Vallejo; her children, Elena Gonzalez-Prendes and Miguel Gonzalez-Prendes (Adriana); her stepsons, DJ Vallejo and Frank Vallejo; her stepgrandson Victor; and her siblings, Kathy Mickam (Mauricio), Barbara Ancel (late Jeffrey), Brenda Charon (Brian), Cindy Milka (John), Jeff England (Tina) and Pamela England. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home, Northrop-Sassaman Chapel (19091 Northville Road, Northville, MI 48168). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, she asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation (https://alzfdn.org) to support finding a cure for a disease that has stolen the lives of several family members.
