Bob Benner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Benner (Fenton, Michigan), born in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his son Lynn; his son-in-law Laurence Grindel; and his siblings, Lynn Benner, Frank Vollmer and Lucille Howard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Alice Frazier of Flint, MI and Sharon Grindel of Sault Ste; his grandson Sean Benner (Christa) of Davison, MI; and his close friends, Mary Hect of Flint and Mark Weaver of Grand Blanc. He is also survived by two great-grand daughters, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bob Benner Memorial Fund set up by the Midwest International Racing Association (M.I.R.A.) to help snowmobile drivers injured while racing.
