He is survived by: his spouse Betty Malen; his children, Ariel Salimi, Gabriel Salimi (Lina) and Rashelle Salimi (Marino Ruiz); his grandchildren, Asher of Cooper, Marino VI, Alaina, Mila and Mason; and his siblings, Manuchehr Salimi of Iran, Edna Mlekan of New York, Yaka Hassid of New York and Ilana Tabibi of New York.
