He is survived by : his wife Marilyn; his stepchildren, Bobby Jo O'Connor of Orleans, Jessica Rowley (Edward) of Ionia and Bonnie Maroulis (Nials) of Stanton; and his grandchildren, Felicia Ehle and Brandon Ehle (Mary).

Memorials may be given to the Downs Syndrome Awareness Association of West Michigan.
