He was predeceased by: his parents, Enos LaBerge and Olive LaBerge; his in-laws, Anthony and Angeline Cherry; his brothers, Gary and James; and his sister-in-law Dianne Cherry.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Sherrill (Michael Shumaker), Dr. Susan Deters, Karen LaBerge and Gregory (Meredith); his grandchildren, Sara (Michael), Katie, Andrew, Elli (Austin), Emily, Trevor, Noah and Alex; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Cherry, Ruth LaBerge and Meceal LaBerge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alan's name to Leader Dogs for the Blind, the PM&R UMAISE Gift Fund (supporting adaptive sports), or the Paul Dresser Memorial Soccer Fund.
