He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Tol and Elsie Van Tol (Knack); and his brothers, Donald and Vincent. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Palmer of Flushing; his children, Debra Newman and Michael Van Tol (Anne Marie); his grandchildren, Casey (Cordell), Samantha (Ross), Alex (Lydia), Chloe and Jason; his great grandchildren, Braylen and Rowan; and his brother Robert Van Tol.
The family encourages those in attendance to follow Covid 19 protocols of wearing masks and social distancing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
