He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Acker and Lucille Acker (Polaski); his sister Donna LaFrance; his stepbrother Ron Pahassen; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Neitzke and Richard Mohnk.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, Earl Acker (Stephanie) of Macomb and Heidi Adams (Sean) of Bear Lake; his grandchildren, Katelyn Hearit (Dallas) of Warren, Jonathan Adams of Bear Lake, Adam Acker of Macomb and Chloe Acker of Macomb; his half-brother Michael Mitchell; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Micinski of Flushing, Barb Stelzriede of Saginaw and Judy Mohnk of Burt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
