She was predeceased by : her parents, Murphy Chapman and Mary Chapman (Bethley); her children, Jerry and Lamar; her sister Helen Chapman; and her nephew Marcus Chapman.

She is survived by : her husband Joe Horne; her children, Rochelle, Joe Jr., Roshanda, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Rachel, Rebekah, Joshua, Mary and Sarah; her siblings, Murphy Jr., Marvin, Martin, Merlyn, Vam, Jackie, Victoria and Mary; and her granddaughter Morgan Horne. She is also survived by grandchildren and her great-granddaughter.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507).
