She is survived by: her brother Ken; her husband Sam Lassiter, II; her daughter Shannon Halbedel; her granddaughter Triniti Halbedel; her siblings, Christina "Christy" Grice of Flint, Michigan and Kenneth Storey (Cherri) of Niles, Michigan.; her nieces and nephews, Anita Porritt, Kim McPherson (Walter), Tammy Hoag of Michigan, Mellissa Monday of Florida, Craig Cromwell (Charyl) of Michigan, Alfred "Clint" Monday (Cyndi) of Ohio and David Storey (Cindy) of Florida; her great-nephew Nicholas Porritt of Michigan; her godchildren, Le V. Bailey, II and Tonya Bailey; and her friends, Shari Matthews, Tracey Hopson, Karen Johnson and Bonnie Brandon. She is also survived by other great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
