He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur Slaughter and Kate Slaughter; his wife Suzanne; his children, Mark Jewell (Pamela), Shellie Kent (Michael), Lisa Grennier (Marty), Amanda Zeller (Andrew) and Michael Slaughter; his stepdaughter Lisa Shreve; his grandchildren, Steven Jewell, Stephanie Jewell, Jameson Kent, Spencer Kent, Jewell Kent, Taylor Moon, Kylie Zeller, Drew Zeller, Emmett Zeller, Ayden Slaughter, Aldryn Slaughter, James Parrotte and Elijah Perez; his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Logan, Atticus, Lochlan, Oliva and Ethan; his sisters, Lois Link, Wilma Hoaglund, Mary Ann Tanis and Linda Wagner; his cousin Chuck Slaughter; his daughter Amy Slaughter; and his brother W. David Slaughter. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
