He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Chrystler and Thelma Chrystler (Nordwall); his stepfather Arnold Hagen; and his siblings, Carol, Kenneth and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Luchies of Fremont; his children, Jeremy Chrystler (Paige) of Fremont and Megin Boes (Jonathan) of Fremont; his granddaughter Claire; and his siblings, Shirley Nelsen (Gary) of Fremont, Nancy Chrystler of Fremont, Paul Chrystler of Muskegon, Larry Chrystler of Fremont and Ron Chrystler of Fremont. He is also survived by several sisters-in-laws and 1 brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
