She was predeceased by : her parents, Elliott Tuckey and Marie Tuckey; her son Thomas Mitchell Carter; and her husband Robert Carter. She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra Porter (Mel) of Galesburg and Susan Carter of Park Hills, KY.. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be directed to Elara Caring Hospice or CareWell Services of Southwest Michigan.
