He was predeceased by : his mother Elsie Robertson; and his sisters, Irene Straubb, Eilene Ellis, Betty Whitehead, Joanne Weir and Helen Ross.

He is survived by : his father William Allen; his children, Martha Blazo (Eddie) and Victor Allen (Yvette Staton); his grandchildren, Corene, Christina (Scott), Justin and Lukus (Abigail Harris); and his sister Patricia Wojtewicz. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or the Smile Train.
