With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence N. Helka (Garden City, Michigan), who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lisa; his children, Melissa Kaczkowski (Thaddeus), Brittany Helka and Lawrence Lee Helka; his grandchildren, Arieanna, Noah, Violet, Calee, Little Ted and Wyatt; his sibling Lynn Eckhardt; his mother-in-law Jeannie Stephens; and his sibling-in-law Ezra Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. G. & G. R. Harris Funeral Home (31551 Ford Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
