She was loved and cherished by many people including : her spouse Aurel; her children, George J. (Kimberly), Eli E., Elizabeth A. and Nick P. Dear; her daughter-in-law Christine; her grandchildren, Melinda Holt (Donald), Matthew (Sandra), Joseph E. Lonn (Tony), Jason, Meagan Tople (Lawrence), Emily Mosser (Will) and Michelle Demyan (Stephen); and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Natalie, Byron, Walker, Kole, Elliott, Finley, Freya, Farryn, Lincoln and Hazel. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home (1139 Inkster Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). The lying in state was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Church (750 N Beech Daly Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
