It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Ray Hines of Gaylord, Michigan, born in Wayne City, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jimmy Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jimmy Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his son Michael Hines; his sister Phyllis Hines; his son-in-law Thomas Melton; and his grandson Michael Melton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughters, Amy Slivinski (Paul) of Gaylord and Kate Melton of Johannesburg; his granddaughter Haeley Melton; and his great grandchildren, Xavier and Quincy Rivera. He is also survived by his niece and nephew.
