He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Mackowiak; his daughters, Kimberly and Angelle; and his former spouses, Jean Mackowiak (Probst) and Irene Mackowiak (Meeker).
He is survived by: his mother Martha Mackowiak (Kujawa); his wife Ellen Mackowiak (Connorf) of Ocala, Fla.; his daughters, Camille Mackowiak of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Adrienne Clahassey (Mackowiak) of Montague, Mich; his stepchildren, Julie McCalmont (Probst) of Port Charlotte, Fla and John Probst of Englewood, Fla.; his brothers, Richard (Barbara) of Ionia, Arnold of Dexter and Joseph of Gaylord; Charlene Wickering (Lenkowski) of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial tributes to the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.
