He was predeceased by : his parents, Anthony A. and Leola E. Mikowski (Bussey); his wife Joyce; and his siblings, Raymond Mikowski, Arthur Mikowski, Dale Mikowski and Donna Marie Mikowski Coyne.

He is survived by : his children, Jay Mikowski (Amber) of Manton and Jill Mikowski of Traverse City; his stepdaughters, Rhonda Thompson (Victor) of Escanaba and Andrea Timm (Greg) of Marquette; and his siblings, Glenwood Mikowski of Germfask, Rosemary Houdek (Bill) of Germfask, JoAnn Roy of Bruce Mines and Ontario. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
