It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Caroline Bokota (Gladwin, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 12, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Bokota; her children, Joe Jr. and Cheryl Bokota Yeager; and her parents, Frank Fifelski and Elizabeth Fifelski.

She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Matteson of Texas, Sandra Slater (Ken) of Metamora, MI, Claudia Whitmer (Dan) of Beaverton and Marilyn Bokota; her grandchildren, Steve Henry (Carla), Carol Hoag (Bob), Tammy, Justina, Ron, George, Rob, Bob, Matt, John, Sherry, Byron, Debra and Jacob; and her sister Dolores Caruso of Westland.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the donor's.
