He was predeceased by: his parent Arthur Loomis; and his siblings, Hazel Farley, Dorothy Faye Cronkright, Marlin Loomis, Nellfern Balcom, Joyce Schilling, Robert Loomis, Lavina Nast, Gerald Loomis and Emma Jean Armstrong.
He is survived by: his parent Bertha Loomis (Rollf); his wife Barbara; his children, Fredric Loomis and Phyllis McCombs of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Alexandria Loomis and Paige Shumaker; and his sisters, Beverly Dees (Everett) and Barbara Lancaster.
