He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Burge and Vera Burge (Simpson); and his siblings, Lillie Lou Pierce and Billy Lee Burge. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Burge (Seltenright); and his children, Dawn Johnson, John Burge Jr. (Maria), Jim Burge (Sherri), Cindy Siefke (Hank), Edward Jones (Stacey) and Leslie Burge. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
