She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond J. Pineau and Carol M. Pineau (Lenski); and her husband Wayne LeRoy Havens. She is survived by : her children, Amy Hieftje (Charlie) of Greenville and Craig Havens (Carrie) of Gowen; her grandchildren, Ian Hieftje, Kyla Hieftje, Cody Havens and Courtney Havens; and her brother Curtis Pineau (Kim) of Louisburg.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Laura's name to the Kidney Foundation.
