It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leon E. Saunders (Gowen, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Leon F. Saunders and Marjorie M. Saunders (Barnes); and his sister Linda. He is survived by : his wife Louise; his children, Karen Kayser (David) of Lowell and Douglas Saunders (Valarie) of Howard City; his grandsons, Patrick, Jeremy Kayser, Justin Bowhuis and Connor Saunders; his great grandchildren, Riley, McKenna Kayser, Stark and Leon Joseph Kayser; and his siblings, Sherry, Cathy, Robert and Mike.
There will be no visitation held at the funeral home or the church due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the extended Stay-At-Home Executive Order.
Memorial contributions in Leon's name can be made to Faith Hospice.
