With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Terry De Vries of Gowen, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brother Alvin De Vries; and his sister-in-law Barbara De Vries. He is survived by : his wife Esther De Vries; his children, Kim Griffioen (Jon) and Scott De Vries (Tracy); his grandchildren, Michael Griffioen (Laura), Matthew Griffioen (Laura), Michelle March (Nathan), Nickolas De Vries (Alyssa) and Ashley Wallner (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Eden, Henry Marvin, Allie and Logan; his friends, Don and Sandy Vanderwarf; and his close friends, Chantal Wolters and Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to direct it to the American Lung Association or a charity of one's choice.
