She was predeceased by : her parents, Stephen Clarke Canning and Mary Agnes Canning (Foy); her husband James McGuire; her daughter Erin Ecklund (McGuire); and her siblings, Margaret Mary Daly (Canning), Tom, Jack and Pat Canning.

She is survived by : her pets, Willy, Billy and Duffy; her children, Mary Catherine Gendrikovs (McGuire) of Kalamazoo, MI, John McGuire of Fenton, MI, Colleen (McGuire), Tony Tinnin of Grand Blanc, MI, Angela McGuire (Alan Dinehart) of Grand Ledge, MI, Mike and Tressa McGuire of Pinckney, MI.; her grandchildren, Charlie, Kelly, Cary, Shannon, Ian, Connor, Sean and Leah; her great grandchildren, Claire, Maddy, Stella and Jack; her sisters, Rita (Doherty), Irene (Abbott), Karen (Aldorfer) and Colleen (Paradowski); and her friend Art Nasberg.
