She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Friesorger and Linda Friesorger (Spaedl); and her husband David Scharer. She is survived by : her children, Scott Yurk (Janine) of Grand Blanc, Gale Ewers of Flint, Glen Scharer (Noemi) of Winter Haven and Lois Durrett of Saint Cloud, Florida; her grandchildren, Shelby Raymond (Nick), Jacob Yurk (Samantha), Jessi Blackwell (Ali), Katie Nutter (Derek), Amber Branstetter and Geoffrey Branstetter; and her great grandchildren, Waylon Raymond, Kiera Jenkins, Kennedy Nutter and Zadok Branstetter.
In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
