He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKnight and Mayme McKnight (Smiley); his wife Marian Nettles; and his siblings, Earl, Mary, Mattie, Norma of Phil, JD and Juanita.
He is survived by: his children, Janet (Loyd Bartholomew) of Swartz Creek and Denton McKnight of Flint Township; his grandchildren, Janelle Hittle (Jeff), Jared Field (Angie) and Justin Bartholomew (Erin); and his great grandchildren, Jaedyn, Gideon, Alice, Sophia and Lennon.
