It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell George Mann Jr. (Grand Blanc, Michigan), born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell George Mann and Beatrice Lillian Mann (Lunt); his son Russell George, III; his wife Gertie Mann; and his son-in-law Robert Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Anne M. Mann; his daughter Beatrice Carpenter (Mann); his stepson Bill Cason (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Amanda Sauvie (Joshua), Christina Nerreter (Andrew), Jessica Hornus (Scott), Robert Cason (Amanda), Morgan Cason and Stephanie Koreck (Jeff); and his great grandchildren, Madilyn Carpenter-Sauvie, Lillian Sauvie, Carson Nerreter, Jacob Nerreter, Bobby Hornus, Evelyn Hornus, Jimmy Cason, Lincoln Cason, Dylan Koreck and Evan Koreck.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the YMCA of Flint and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
